Current Meter/Tide Gauges (InterOcean) and Anemometers provide data via wireless radio links to this web site, as well as directly to the US Coast Guard and San Diego Pilots. Instruments are located at specified points on the map, while the Barometric Pressure Sensor is located at the USCG's Operations Center. Data is updated to the web site every 5 minutes (use your browser's "Update" button), and tide data is further incorporated to provide dynamic depth soundings on the SDMIS Interactive Chart. Please remember that wind direction is measured "from", whereas current direction is measured "to".
